What is “Ceramic Experience”.
The memberships at the QI Clay Club are available to those individuals who can successfully work without assistance. Within their own body of work as well as within a professional studio space.
Example, you must have all your own tools and know how to use them. You must know how to glaze using dipping glazes or provide your own glaze with test tiles…excetra
Acceptable Experience is as follows:
Any post secondary credits/courses in ceramics with a transcript.
At least two years of general interest courses from another studio or self taught for as many years. An interview and examples of work will be requested upon application.
Graduate from the QI Clay Club’s bridging program. Take classes at the QI Clay Club and then apply for the membership bridging program.
