security and access

• The QI Clay Club is monitored by digital locks and a video security system. Each member is given a personalized access codes upon registration. It is the responsibility of the member to ensure that these systems are engaged at all times.

• Memberships are non-transferable and intended for individual use only.

• Members will not grant studio access to non-members.

• Members are required to book studio visits through the online app. Arrival and departure times are to be adhered to. This will ensure a smooth transition between members.

• QI Clay Club shares walls with residential apartments, therefore, late night access is not permitted. Studios open at 9am and close at 9pm.

studio maintenance and responsibilities

• Each member will clean used equipment, tools, furniture and floor before the end of each studio visit.

• Members will provide their own hand tools, underglazes, stains and linens such as aprons and towels.

• If a member chooses to use outside clay they must also provide their own glaze and make individual firing arrangements with the studio at additional cost. All outside glazes and clays must be tested by the studio prior to firing.

• Members will be trained to use the QI Clay Waste Management System and then expected to maintain the system during every visit.

• The membership area is equipped with a google speaker and streaming music. If a member is alone, they are welcome to its use. If there are other members present please use earphones to avoid disruption.

• The members lounge includes a kitchenette. Please wash your dishes and take compostable garbage with you when you leave.

membership fees and subscriptions

• The membership primary visits (4 visits) must be used by the end of each month. Unused visits will not carry over to the next month.

• Subscriptions are non refundable.

• Subscriptions cannot be put on hold.

• Additional studio visits must be purchased at least 24 hrs prior to arrival.

• Memberships are a minimum of three months.

• The intention to cancel or renew a subscription should be made at least 2 weeks prior to the end of the current subscription.

Failure to comply with the membership policy and regulations as stated above will result in membership suspension.
